Notre Dame made it to Arlington on Sunday and the Irish held practice on Monday morning. 

Head coach Brian Kelly spoke before Monday’s practice. 

On the injury to offensive lineman Dillan Gibbons:
“Dillan Gibbons had a fracture in his foot during practice, and he had surgery. So he will not play. He wasn't going to play anyway. He was being redshirted.” 

On potential academic casualties:
“We have no issues relative to academics.
