Brandon Wimbush To Transfer From Notre Dame

On Monday evening, WatchStadium’s Brett Murphy was the first to report Notre Dame quarterback Brandon Wimbush will transfer from the Irish program. 

I can confirm through two sources close to the situation that Wimbush will do a graduate transfer. 

The 6-foot-2, 222-pounder threw for 719 yards, four touchdowns and six interceptions six games this season for  Notre Dame. 

For his career, Wimbush had thrown for 2,606 yards, 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while adding 1,156 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns. 

It’s unknown right now where Wimbush’s top options are, but the New Jersey native won’t be lacking for options as several programs would love to get their hands on him. 

Wimbush, who just turned 22 last week, will graduate with an Accounting Degree from Notre Dame.
