Notre Dame opened spring ball on Saturday morning and four Notre Dame players spoke following the conclusion of practice. 

Quarterback Ian Book, safety Jalen Elliott, offensive lineman Robert Hainsey and defensive end Khalid Kareem all met the media to recap the first day of practice and update their offseason.
