Notre Dame secured a spot in the Big Ten semifinals with a 2-0 win over Michigan State on Saturday night at Compton Family Ice Arena. 

Pierce Crawford scored the first goal just 2:01 into the first. Graham Slaggert scored with 9:22 left in the middle period to put the Irish up 2-0. 

Cale Morris stopped 28 shots, including eight saves in the last 20 minutes.

It was the eighth shutout of Morris' career. 

Notre Dame will host Minnesota at Compton Family Ice Arena on Saturday.
