Irish Enter Race For Elite 2021 DL Damon Payne

Last week, Notre Dame joined the race for one of the nation’s top defensive linemen in the Class of 2021, when it extended an offer to Michigan’s Damon Payne‍.

“He’s a big, physical, athletic kid,” Payne’s coach at Belleville High School, Jermain Crowell says. “He plays well with his hands, he’s violent at the point.
