Notre Dame freshman Michael Graham scored 53 seconds into overtime on a power play to give the Irish (21-13-3, 13-11-2-2 B1G) a 2-1 victory over Minnesota (18-16-4, 10-11-3-0 B1G) on Saturday evening.

The goal was Graham’s first game-winning goal of his career.

Cale Morris made 25 saves on the night for the Irish, while Cam Morrison added the first goal of the game in the first period.

The win puts Notre Dame in the Big Ten title game next weekend. Penn State and Ohio State will face off on Sunday. If Penn State wins, the Irish will host the Nittany Lions next Saturday, while if Ohio State wins, they will play on Sunday.

ISD photographer Rick Kimball was in Compton Family Ice Arena on Saturday night and brings you an inside look at the huge win for the Irish.
