Notre Dame lost their leading receiver from last year and normally that means a step back at the position. That wasn’t the case this spring, though.

Despite not having a talented player like Miles Boykin, Del Alexander’s group looks poised to be the best it has been for the Irish since the 2015 season. That’s due to not only a couple of returning starters being ready to make the leap in 2019, but a handful of other players who made plays consistently throughout the spring.
