The trip to Notre Dame for Irish Invasion on Sunday was a long one, both literally and figuratively for Jay Brunelle‍.

The 2020 Massachusetts wide receiver and his father experienced multiple delays both in Boston and Chicago on Saturday that made for a much-later-than-anticipated arrival in South Bend.

It was also quite the journey from a recruiting perspective as the 6-foot-2, 200-pounder has made a habit out of ignoring nay-sayers who question his ability for whatever the reason.
