Jordan Botelho Named To Butkus High School Award Watch List

2020 St. Louis (Hawaii) linebacker Jordan Botelho‍ earned some preseason recognition on Tuesday as he was named to the Butkus High School Award Watch List.

The four-star prospect will have a chance to join Manti Te’o (2008) and Jaylon Smith (2012) in winning the award in high school.

Botelho is projected to start at the drop position at Notre Dame, but the recognition for his play at linebacker speaks to his athletic potential.

In 2018, Botelho recorded over 15 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and four touchdowns.
