Notre Dame defensive line coach Mike Elston will be in Alabama tonight to check out recently-offered 2018 defensive end Malik Langham.
Langham landed an offer from the Irish a week ago, when Elston made an in-home visit, and immediately scheduled an official visit to South Bend for this weekend's awards banquet.
Notre Dame has some serious competition after Alabama extended an offer to Langham on Monday night, when Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban made his in-home visit.
Langham tells ISD he'll take an official visit to Tuscaloosa in January and that he doesn't expect to make his final decision until National Signing Day. Auburn is another school we've been told could shake things up with an offer, but as of now, there hasn't been any real contact between the two sides.
For now, though, Elston will be watching Langham play basketball tonight and continuing to show just how interested the Irish are in him.
