2026 WR Brayden Robinson Talks Notre Dame, Upcoming Officials
With three official visits locked in - and a fourth possible - Brayden Robinson has effectively narrowed a lengthy list of scholarships down to just a few.
The Red Oak High School star will take officials to Miami (June 6th), Ohio State (June 13th) and Notre Dame (June 20th). He’s also considering adding a trip to either SMU or Arizona.
While he hasn’t officially cut his list to four or five, Robinson acknowledges there is a strong chance his final choice comes from the above group.
The Irish made the group on the back of an impressive Junior Day visit last month.
“Definitely the people, they seem genuine,” Robinson says of what sticks out about the Irish. “They're not going to be done making a big playoff push, so I feel like that's something good to look at.”
He’s looking forward to seeing more when he returns.
“This trip, I’ll focus on the team and stuff like that,” he says. “Getting around the players, getting to meet some people on campus, see the experience and stuff like that.”
Robinson has stayed in regular contact with Carter Auman, Mike Brown, Mike Denbrock and Marcus Freeman at Notre Dame, who have made their feelings obvious.
“I'm a priority for them and I'm definitely one of those guys they want to bring in for sure,” he says. “They've made that very clear.
“They're all great. I'm still building relationships with those guys for sure, but just getting able to hear from them more often, that's pretty good.”
Robinson has landed close to 50 offers during the process, so the Irish being able to make him feel like a priority has been both impressive and effective.
“It means a lot with them competing at such a high level,” says Robinson. “Just being a historic program, them wanting me that bad, that says a lot. It's definitely something that has impressed me for sure and caught me by surprise.”
Robinson already has a commitment date in mind.
“I want to be committed by July 20th,” he says.
That’s his mother’s birthday and he wants to make it a special one by honoring her for all of the sacrifices she’s made for him.
