I was at this game sitting at about the 50yd line on the ND side. All the hype all week was how the "vaunted" NC State defense would crush ND, then the game happened and hello Josh Adam's and Co.

passing - 104 yds
rushing - 319 yds
defense - had one sack

NC STATE
passing 213 yds
rushing 50yds (sack adjusted)
defense - had one sack

In the 3rd Qtr., Josh busted out the 77yd whooping stick on NC State that crushed them, right through the middle of the defense..it was was of the most beautiful runs I have witnessed in person.

Now, obviously ND does not have Adam's or that offensive line in 2017 and I would be much more inclined to be happier with Kyren in there, but what ND has now at RB is not shabby and can get the job done. And add the Mayor at RT Tackle and that's a pretty stout line now.

All we are hearing is how good a BIG12 defense is, so I ask, anyone agree on the possible comparison's here? I am trying not to get a head of myself, but its the BIG 12 and they barely made it past several BIG 12 sub-par teams..I don't know, I just don't see how ND doesn't drop 30+ on OSU while giving up maybe 14-17pts.
