2020 - Brandon Joseph (Sr) 6-1 / 196 - 0.854 (#83)
2020 - Xavier Watts (Sr) 5-11 / 193 - 0.8884 (#64)
2020 - Ramone Henderson (Sr) 6-1 / 190 - 0.8706 (#34)
2021 - Justin Walters (Jr) 6-0 / 190 - 0.8721 (#46)
2023 Adon Shuler (Fr) 6-0 / 190 - 0.9135 (#18)
2023 Ben Minich (Fr) 5-11 / 182 - 0.8975 (#34)
2023 Peyton Bowen (Fr) 6-0 / 185 - 0.9833 (#4)

DJ Brown will be a front-runner to start at one of the Safety spots heading into spring practice.

I have a gut feeling that Brandon Joseph will be back (despite insiders feeling otherwise). I just see him as not having much to gain by entering the draft after this season.

Xavier Watts came on late in the year and I think will definitely be in the two-deep at the position.

Ramone Henderson will provide depth and leadership

Justin Walters….To Be Determined

Adon Shuler was one of the first commitments in the class of 2023 and is a solid prospect. His composite 24/7 rating is .9135, which, at the time of his commitment, made him the highest rated DB Notre Dame had signed in several years. I think he will eventually push into the two-deep once he has a few games under his belt in 2023.

Ben Minich seems like a safety net if Peyton Bowen does not sign with Notre Dame. He could turn into a multi-year starter In the defensive backfield, but that is at least a couple of years away.

Peyton Bowen is the crown jewel of the class of 2023. I see him pushing to start once he steps foot on campus. Can the Irish hang on though through signing day??

Here are a few 2024 prospects ND is looking at the Safety position: Peyton Woodyard, Marquis Gallego, Brauntae Johnson. Johnson is an Indiana kid, so I hope that works in Notre Dame's favor. Sounds like he has some work to do though to be a good fit at ND.

Jaylen Mclain out of New Jersey just received an offer from ND and has a very impressive offer list: Michigan, Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M and Oregon along with several others
