It is a lateral move in title, but not in career advancement. I think it is a no-brainer with respect to bulking up his resume and networking into a HC job or a coordinator job in the NFL.

Alabama is one of the premier teams in college ball.

They are in the premier conference.

Recruiting hot-bed.

Significantly more talented offensive skill position players

Track record of heisman level players/winners at QB, RB, and WR.

Really a no-brainer. He rightfully accepted the job.
