Notre Dame basketball enters a tough stretch with four games in the next seven days, starting on Wednesday night against NC State.

Mike Brey spoke on Tuesday afternoon and while he hasn't made a huge statement about the ACC Tournament and NCAA Tournament to the team, he knows it's coming.

Brey also addressed the potential impact of 2022 signee JJ Starling being selected as a McDonald's All-American as it relates to credibility for the program and the four-star guard.

The down year in the ACC was also a topic on Tuesday. Brey feels the ACC will get more teams in the Big Dance than projected, but knows the Irish are in a position to make a move over the month as they hope to earn a double-bye in the ACC Tournament.

Brey also discussed the consistency of his veterans this year, which has allowed Notre Dame to find success to this point.
