Quick Note on a 2020 WR/S committed elsewhere
I've been monitoring a situation for about a month as 2020 Eagles Landing Christian (Ga.) WR Justin Robinson seems to be doing some double-checking as the fall arrives. The three-star prospect committed to Georgia in the spring about a week after he visited Notre Dame for Junior Day, which came as somewhat of a surprise. What I can tell you is Notre Dame is somewhat interested, but they have remained firm in wanting Robinson as a safety, which is a position most programs are not recruiting him at. Georgia see's him as a WR as well as Nebraska and Georgia Tech.If Robinson ever comes around on playing safety, I would imagine this one is over very quick as I believe his parents would be thrilled if he ended up in South Bend.In fact, I think Robinson really likes Notre Dame himself as I was told "He really likes Notre Dame...really likes Notre Dame" back in mid-August. However, this one will likely come down to if he changes his mind on playing defense. Not much wiggle room to get another receiver in this class. As for an official visit, I'm not sure Notre Dame will host him if he's not open to playing defense, but it also makes sense to still make sure he gets back to Notre Dame to help change his mind. That will be a decision the staff has to make, but I know Robinson would love to make that trip. Personally, I like Robinson at WR but not as much as 2021 WR Deion Colzie and looking at his photo, it's hard to not like his length on the defensive side of the football, but it doesn't change my opinion that Robinson is an athletic freak. Whoa. Top 2020 ATH Justin Robinson commits to Georgia
2020 Eagles Landing Christian Academy (Ga.) athlete Justin Robinson has committed to Georgia. Robinson committing to Georgia isn't a huge surprise but I am shocked he committed now. He and his family were extremely high on Notre Dame following their visit last weekend, so a week later for him to commit to Georgia caught me by surprise. As mentioned on this site and on Power Hour, I felt he was open to playing safety at Notre Dame but needed a little push over the top. Georgia wanted him as a receiver.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.
