Post-Visit Update: Liam Clifford
Just caught up with 2021 Ohio WR Liam Clifford following his visit to Notre Dame today. The St. Xavier High School product was thoroughly impressed with everything he saw. The highlight of the trip for him was getting to spend some extended 1-on-1 time with WR coach Del Alexander later in the day. Clifford also enjoyed learning more about the academic piece at Notre Dame. It's obvious the Irish are interested. They didn't extend an offer today, but did ask him to come Vs k for a camp this summer, which is something he hopes to do. Either way, he said he would love the chance to get back on campus in the future.

Couple Prospects Added To Weekend Visit List
Received confirmation today that 2020 Indiana DE Deontae Craig will be back at Notre Dame this weekend. The Culver Academies standout has been to South Bend before, but not since being offered by the Irish last month. He's been focused on basketball, but with hoops over, he's ready to dive back into recruiting and will this weekend. The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder also has offers from schools like Ohio State, Michigan State, Tennessee and Purdue among others.https://www.hudl.com/video/3/7828040/5c0f25163deaa702b04ef75a2021 Ohio wide receiver/athlete Liam Clifford will also be in town. Clifford is the younger brother of Sean Clifford, who plays quarterback at Penn State. The St. Xavier standout has offers from Michigan, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Toledo. He's been in touch with Mike Elston the past couple months and is excited about getting back to Notre Dame after taking in games when he was younger and his cousin attended school at Notre Dame.https://www.hudl.com/video/3/9804691/5be0c451041d8d09aca4eed6

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
