Postgame Recruiting Updates
Spoke with 2022 Illinois WR/ATH Tyler Morris following his second visit to Notre Dame. Morris, one of two 2022 prospects to currently hold an Irish offer, was also in town for Irish Invasion back in June. This time, he got a deeper tour of the facilities in South Bend and a better understanding of how everything works for the student-athletes at ND. He believes it's a set-up that would work well for him. He was impressed with the energy in the crowd for the stadium and the play of the Irish. Morris was able to speak to Del Alexander for a bit after the game, who told him he'd try to keep in touch as much as possible given NCAA restrictions on contact with underclassmen. Overall, he's very high on Notre Dame and told me he thinks it could be the place for him. That doesn't mean Notre Dame is his leader just yet, but they continue to impress him and are certainly ion his short list. Morris said he definitely will be back on campus, although maybe not again this season. He wants to see if Notre Dame is consistently like what he's seen so far. More coming in full story later.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
