2024 CB Eliminates Notre Dame
2024 St. Joseph's Prep (Pa.) CB Omillio Agard visited Notre Dame over the summer and left giving it high remarks. The four-star didn't return this fall and it seemed like things cooled down with him. On Monday, Agard released a top five of Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Penn State and Tennessee. In talking with a few coaches outside the program who evaled Agard, it seems like thoughts kind of all over the place on him. Agard doesn't have great testing numbers or measurements, but his film is still quality. I think Notre Dame will be fine in cornerback recruiting as Mike Mickens has been good identifying talent, but more importantly, developing it. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/14976828/63966ce4c1242a05d06d340bNotre Dame Fighting Irish OHT Military Appreciation Quarter-Zip Hoodie

The Latest | 2024 CB Omillio Agard
Just touched base with 2024 St. Joseph's Prep (Pa.) cornerback Omillio Agard and Notre Dame absolutely crushed it with the visit on Friday. Agard says his expectations were surpassed and his eyes were opened a great deal to what Notre Dame could offer on and off the field. Cornerbacks Mike Mickens has recruited Agard hard since February and getting to talk face-to-face was huge. Agard felt he got to know Mickens really well and learned a great deal about how he coaches, but also where Notre Dame sees him fitting into the defense. Defensive coordinator Al Golden wasn't there as it's vacation time for the staff, but head Marcus Freeman made time for Agard and impressed as normal. Agard knew there was a lot of hype of Freeman based off the last six months, but the St. Joseph's star is a full believer. Freeman connected with the family as they both have big families, which was a significant thing as Agard saw the Notre Dame head coach as a family man. Agard was also shocked to see Notre Dame Stadium - and despite him not being able to see the field (Billy Joel concert), he said he could smell the turf and could see the wild fans in the stands. Notre Dame helped itself in a big way on Friday and I expect him to start to narrow things down to a Top 10 soon. The irish will be in that group and will now focus on getting him back for a game in the fall. And Agard has appreciated hearing from Notre Dame's commits over the last few days as CJ Carr, Adon Shuler and a few more have made efforts to reach out. National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
