After visiting South Bend for the USC game last fall, 2024 North Carolina linebacker Cayden Jones was fired up to land an offer from the Irish last week.

Notre Dame defensive coordinator Al Golden wanted to wish Cayden Jones a Happy St. Patrick's Day and did so by delivering a scholarship offer from the Irish.The 2024 North Carolina linebacker was on campus for the USC game last fall, which was an "awesome" experience.He's now looking at making a return trip next month, possibly for the spring game, but he'd also like to get a peek at what a practice is like at Notre Dame.Distance doesn't seem to be a major hurdle. He recently went to the West Coast to see USC and UCLA and has already made a couple visit to Ohio State.
