Coaches on the Road | 5.5
It's the 5th of May and Notre Dame's coaches will be recruiting all over the country once again today. Notre Dame offensive coordinator Tommy Rees is expected to be in Chicago on Thursday following a big offer day out in Missouri and Kansas on Wednesday. Chicago is an area Notre Dame hasn't recruited much over the years, but we expect Rees to make stops at various schools today to build relationships at a minimum. Running backs coach Deland McCullough will continue his travels through the Sunshine State as he's expected to be in Jacksonville and Tampa.Chansi Stuckey has been in the Atlanta area all week and he'll wrap things up there today. Notre Dame is making a point to stop into schools and have relationships and Stuckey being in ATL for four days speaks volumes to that. Tight ends coach Gerad Parker is expected to be in Nashville. It wouldn't be a surprise to hear he stopped by some of the Nashville powerhouses like Lipscomb Academy or Montgomery Bell Academy. Harry Hiestand is expected to swing by Reagan (N.C.) to check on new 2023 offensive line recruit Sam Pendleton on Thursday. Defensive coordinator Al Golden spent the last two days in New York and New Jersey. 2024 The Hun School (N.J.) defensive lineman Owen Wafle will get a visit before Golden heads to Philly. We expect Golden to make a stop at powerhouse St. Joseph's as 2024 cornerback Omillio Agard and 2025 safety Anthony Sacca hold Notre Dame offers. Safeties coach Chris O'Leary will also be in the Tampa area on Thursday. The Irish offered Riverview (Fla.) cornerback Charles Lester III on St. Patrick's Day, so it wouldn't be a shock to see O'Leary at his school. Irish defensive line coach Al Washington will go home to Columbus and cornerbacks coach Mike Mickens will continue his travels through Southeast Ohio. Special teams coordinator Brian Mason will stay in the Indy area as several high schools have had open practices or showcases this week. We expect him at Cathedral High School this morning.
Elite 2024 CB Charles Lester III Will Seriously Consider Notre Dame After Offer
2024 Florida cornerback Charles Lester III talks about the offer he landed from the Irish last week and whether he plans to visit.
