Everyone knows quarterback is the most valuable position in football (maybe in all of sports). After that, there are three other positions that are valued higher than others: edge defender, offensive tackle, and cornerback. It’s probably in that order too.

There were three quarterbacks taken in three of the first four picks of the most recent NFL Draft. Out of the other seven, five were from those three positions. The 2022 draft had eight of the top-10 from those three positions.
