Weekend Visitors
In addition to the Smith twins being on campus this weekend, Notre Dame is hosting several important targets on Friday and Saturday. 2024 Archbishop Wood (Pa.) offensive lineman Kevin Heywood will be on campus this weekend, which is a big visit for both sides. Notre Dame offered on January 21st after then offensive line coach Harry Hiestand made a couple stops by his high school. Heywood blew up following his junior season as Georgia, Nebraska, Northwestern, West Virginia, South Florida, Miami, Auburn, Wisconsin, Syracuse, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Minnesota, Vanderbilt and Stanford have offered.RankingsISD: 91 (four-star)247: 88 (three-star)Rivals: 5.8 (four-star) ESPN: N/R https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15301326/637598c0b5343a051c5df8f62024 Wyomissing Area (Pa.) offensive lineman Caleb Brewer will be at Notre Dame on Friday and Saturday. Brewer has visited Penn State, Michigan, NC State, Duke and Pitt this winter. Brewer was offered by Joe Rudolph at Virginia Tech in January, so there should be a little familiarity there. RankingsISD: 88 (three-star)247: 88 (three-star)Rivals: 5.7 (three-star) ESPN: N/R https://www.hudl.com/video/3/16630764/635aa17cd469580a6c39aac72024 Central Catholic (Pa.) linebacker Cole Sullivan is fresh off a visit to Michigan, Michigan State and Virginia He'll spend Friday and Saturday in South Bend. The Irish have recruited Sullivan hard along with several other linebackers, so it'll be interesting to see where the board settles following the spring. Notre Dame seems to be a top school as Sullivan made his way to South Bend twice for games in the fall without an offer. Sullivan might have lacked the early attention of his teammate in 2024 linebacker Anthony Speca, but he's quickly blown up with offers from Cincinnati, West Virginia, Syracuse, Ohio, Akron, Iowa State, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Notre Dame, Duke, Oklahoma, Pitt, Indiana, Northwestern, Michigan, Maryland, Stanford, Michigan State, Louisville Wisconsin, Utah, Miami, Temple and Virginia since January 12th. RankingsISD: 91 (four-star)247: 87 (three-star)Rivals: 5.7 (three-star) ESPN: N/R https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15015618/6313fb622aa66805346d4df3There will be some serious cornerback talent on campus this weekend as 2024 Notre Dame commits Karson Hobbs and Leonard Moore will be joined by top 2024 cornerback targeted Kaleb Beasley and Aaron Scott Jr. Beasley is still committed to Tennessee, but he'll make stops in South Bend along with visits to Auburn and Miami. Beasley has stated he's firm in his commitment, but I do feel Notre Dame is the school to watch as the Irish led for him until the Vols had a magical year and gained momentum. As mentioned earlier this week, Scott has been to Notre Dame, but he's been to Michigan and Ohio State more. This will be a big visit for Notre Dame as it could go a long way toward securing an official visit and gives them another shot to make up some ground. Regardless, it's hard to think of a time when Notre Dame had four talented cornerbacks on campus and two of them are already committed. 2024 Our Lady of Good Counsel (Md.) defensive end Darien Mayo will get his first look at Notre Dame this weekend. It's still a bit early to really tell how much Mayo is interested in Notre Dame, but him getting out to South Bend is a good start. Mayo is fresh off visits to Michigan and Ohio State. The 6-foot-7, 250-pounder is another prospect who has blown up since the end of December as Nebraska, Ohio State, Florida, Oregon, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, James Madison, Florida State, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Clemson, Texas and Georgia have offered. RankingsISD: 92 (four-star)247: 88 (three-star)Rivals: 5.9 (four-star) ESPN: N/R https://www.hudl.com/video/3/14639237/637d774e66558e0b10ffa1892025 St. Frances Academy (Md.) linebacker Carlton Smith was offered on St. Patrick's Day and will make the trip over to South Bend. It'll be a very competitive recruitment as he holds offers from Alabama, Michigan, Ole Miss, Penn State, Pitt, Tennessee and Virginia Tech among many others. RankingsISD: N/R247: N/RRivals: 5.8 (four-star) ESPN: N/R https://www.hudl.com/video/3/16208865/637d5e8abed68505f8257c252025 Lees Summit North (Mo.) receiver Isaiah Mozee will also be on campus on Saturday. The 6-foot, 170-pounder has become a coveted prospect in recent months as he holds offers from Arkansas, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Wisconsin along with many others. Mozee hasn't been to Notre Dame yet, but he's made visits to Georgia, Kansas State, Missouri and Oklahoma this month. RankingsISD: N/R247: 90 (four-star) Rivals: 5.8 (four-star) ESPN: N/R https://www.hudl.com/video/3/16463182/6387f9b002bb760514d365efPerhaps the weekend's biggest visitor with be one we've previously reported as 2025 George County (Miss.) quarterback Deuce Knight will be in town for his first visit. The 4.0 student visited Auburn earlier this week and Tennessee seems like an early favorite, but Knight has very high expectations for this weekend's visit as Notre Dame has been very active in recruiting him to this point. A good visit could go a long way and I expect Notre Dame to make sure that happens. RankingsISD: N/R247: N/RRivals: 5.8 (four-star) ESPN: N/R https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15419643/63658b352aa7ab0748eccc3e2025 offensive lineman Jake Cook, 2025 safety Remington Moss and 2025 receiver Deshaun Lanier will also be on campus. Cook and Lanier have been to campus multiple times before. Notre Dame Fighting Irish Vintage Mascot Tri-Blend T-Shirt

2024 LB Names Top 10
2024 Good Counsel (Md.) LB Aaron Chiles has named a top 10 and Notre Dame has made the cut. The Irish will be competing against Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Maryland, Michigan, Penn State and Ohio State. Chiles could get to Notre Dame this spring on an unofficial as his teammate Darien Mayo will be on campus on April 1st, but he's still working on visits with his mother. The good news is Chiles tells ISD he will definitely be on campus in June - and at this point we'd lean towards that being an official visit. The four-star prospect is well-aware of Good Counsel sending Cam Hart and Sam Mustipher to Notre Dame and he has trained with Daelin Hayes in Baltimore, so there are some pro-Notre Dame folks in his life. Right now, it's hard to say where Notre Dame stands as he's yet to visit, but Chiles himself has said Notre Dame is his dream school, so one visit could be all it takes to shake his recruitment up. National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
