2025 Notre Dame running back commits Daniel Anderson and Justin Thurman will be back in South Bend while 2025 tight end commit James Flanigan will also return to campus. I'm also expecting Joseph Reiff, Chris Burgess, Dom Hulak, Mark Zackery IV and Noah Grubbs to also be back at Notre Dame. There is also a chance Gordy Sulfsted and Ethan Long make an appearance, but I'm told Long's birthday is on Thursday, so it's still up in the air. 2026 Santa Margarita (Calif.) receiver Trent Mosley is also expected to make a return to campus, which is a big deal for both sides. Notre Dame offered early, so there's a relationship there, but it's also important for him to get to feel Mike Brown, Mike Denbrock and rest of the staff out in person. Offers: Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oregon, San Diego State, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, UNLV, USC, Utah and Washington RatingsISD: N/R247: 90 (four-star)Rivals: 5.8 (four-star)ESPN: 81 (four-star) https://www.hudl.com/video/3/13511865/664ffb89ec440ba837f05a522026 La Salle College (Pa.) cornerback Joey O'Brien will return to Notre Dame and multiple folks believe the Irish hold an early lead here. It's going to be a battle for the 6-foot-3, 180-pounder as he's a unicorn and the nation has caught up to Notre Dame's early evaluation. Offers: Alabama, Boston College, Duke, Florida State, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Penn State, South Florida, Syracuse, Tennessee, Toledo, UCLA, Virginia Tech and West Virginia RatingsISD: N/R247: 90 (four-star) Rivals: 5.9 (four-star)ESPN: 81 (four-star) https://www.hudl.com/video/3/18176488/65538e135ca9710b64468a8d2026 Avon (Ohio) defensive back Jakob Weatherspoon camped at Notre Dame in June and left with an offer. He tells ISD that his plan is to be get back to Notre Dame on Thursday, which is significant if the Irish are going to hold off Ohio State. It's very clear Weatherspoon is a Notre Dame fit and he thoroughly enjoyed his visit last month. Weatherspoon has a verified 4.48 40 and a vertical of 33.3 inches. Offers: Akron, Illinois, Marshall, Miami (OH), Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Syracuse, Toledo and Wisconsin RatingsISD: N/R247: 89 (three-star) Rivals: N/RESPN: 81 (four-star) https://www.hudl.com/video/3/17951359/65640cda02b31d0d843c8166Men's Under Armour #1 Navy Notre Dame Fighting Irish Replica Football Jersey

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Notre Dame and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Notre Dame and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
