Post-Visit Update | 2025 QB EJ Colson
Caught up with 2025 Georgia QB EJ Colson following his trip to Notre Dame today. Colson told me the trip was "amazing."He really enjoyed spending time with the coaching staff, including Dre Brown, Gino Guidugli and Marcus Freeman, and seeing the campus."Words can't explain it," Colson told me.The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder has about a half-dozen offers, including offers from Arkansas and Nebraska. He doesn't have an offer from the Irish yet, but was encouraged by what he heard during the trip from the coaches. Colson acknowledged that Notre Dame has been a top school for him since before the recruiting process even began and an offer from the Irish would mean "everything" to him.So far during spring break, he's also made stops at UAB, Tennessee and Indiana. He goes to Purdue next followed by Cincinnati, Virginia Tech and NC State to come.https://www.hudl.com/video/3/10254597/635d3612688fbe042c95095a

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.
