Sam Holcomb Yes. 2030. He's the starter on one of the best teams in Illinois and has been groomed to play quarterback from a young age by his father, Greg, who runs Next Level QBs out of Chicago. Holcomb holds offers from Austin Peay, UConn and Purdue. RB 2028 Central (Ga.) RB Jacez Walton The brother of Notre Dame freshman running back Jonaz Walton will once again return to campus. RB Ammar Banire The three-star back is an intriguing prospect as he had a big sophomore season and then put up a laser 4.37 and a 38-inch vertical this summer. WR Maddox Porter The four-star prospect holds close to 40 offers, including Notre Dame. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder visited Notre Dame over the summer and left with an offer. WR Maddox Weil The Fort Wayne native has been a priority target for Notre Dame during the offseason and will make his return to South Bend this weekend. WR Corderro Bennett Bennett will make the drive from The Region to Notre Dame for the second weekend in a row. The elite athlete is someone Notre Dame is still evaluating. 2028 Moeller (Ohio) WR Dean Schnitzler The Ohio native holds offers from Cincinnati, UConn, Kent State, Purdue and Toledo. 2028 Lawrence North (Ind.) WR KeiVon Mattox The Indy native holds an offer from Miami (OH) and visited Notre Dame last fall for a game. TE 2029 Westfield (Ind.) TE Caiden Snow It's not often Notre Dame offers tight ends early, but Snow seems like the ideal candidate as he holds over 30 offers. He's been to Notre Dame before so this could end up being a good weekend for the in-state prospect. OL2028 Carmel Catholic (Ill.) OL Wyatt VanBoening It will be back-to-back weekends VanBoening will be at Notre Dame, so that's likely a positive sign for Joe Rudolph. The Irish were a favorite to land him before last weekend, so a second trip in two weeks speaks volumes. DL 2028 The Woodlands (Texas) DL RJ Wyms Wyms will make his much anticipated trip to South Bend and he's the type of prospect Charlie Partridge has done well with before. Wyms is a bit undersized, but it'd be hard to find a more violent player in the country. Ohio State had him work out at linebacker, so it speaks to his athleticism. DL Luke Nabors It's been a minute since Notre Dame has hosted a player from Georgia powerhouse Buford, but that's where Notre Dame recruiting is at. DE Demarshuwn Clemens The 6-foot-4, 262-pounder competed at Irish Invasion over the summer and is a name gaining some momentum this fall. LB Allen Kennett One of Notre Dame's top linebacker targets in 2028 will get on campus this weekend. Kennett will be one of the most coveted backers in the class, so this is a big visit. LB Jameer Miles Miles is another key linebacker target for Notre Dame and getting on campus early is a win.
