Deontae Craig Tuesday Update
Checked in with 2020 Indiana DE Deontae Craig tonight.Craig was in South Bend this past weekend (full visit breakdown HERE), but he returned again on Tuesday to shadow a current player for the day to see what a real day in the life of a student-athlete at Notre Dame is like.Craig shadowed Julian Okwara for the day."It was really good. I got to sit in on a class and watch practice again," Craig told ISD.During the weekend visit, the Notre Dame staff explained how it sees Craig as a Drop end, which would require Craig to drop in coverage at times. It's something he wants to get a better feel for and should be able to as he will drop some for Culver Academies this fall. He'll also continue to learn more about Notre Dame in the months to come."I definitely plan on taking more visits up there," he told us.For now though, Craig is on his way to Ohio State for a visit tomorrow before a trip to Northwestern later in the week.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Irish Sports Daily rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Irish Sports Daily Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Irish Sports Daily readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
