My Dad is a retired high school football coach. When I was growing up, he used to come home from a win with donuts. That’s how we knew if his team got a win and played well.

Donuts meant he was in a good mood. No donuts meant he wasn’t and wanted to watch the film as quick as possible.

Needless to say, we always rooted for donuts when he walked through the door.

Occasionally there would be no donuts and we assumed a loss, but it was a win where the team didn’t play well.
