2020 Five-Star G Alasia Hayes Commits To Notre Dame

Notre Dame and Muffet McGraw have landed a huge piece to the 2020 recruiting class as Riverdale (Tenn.) five-star Alasia Hayes has committed to the Fighting Irish after a weekend visit.

The Irish held off Michigan, North Carolina State, Rutgers and Middle Tennessee State for the 5-foot-7 guard, who is ranked as the No. 44 player in the country by ESPN.

Hayes averaged 13.5 points, 6.8 rebound and 3.3 assists last season as she was named first-team all-area and led Riverdale to the State semifinals.

McGraw visited Hayes in-home a few weeks ago with assistant Beth Cunningham and Michaela Mabrey.

Hayes will join guard Allison Campbell and forward Natalija Marshall in Notre Dame’s 2020 class. All three are considered five-star prospects by ESPN.
