2021 Notre Dame quarterback commit Tyler Buchner‍ was mic’d up recently and you get a small taste of how he manages his huddle. 

Buchner isn’t a kid of too many words, but he’s not afraid to talk a little trash. 

The Bishop’s School (Calif.) offensive coordinator Danny Mitchell has turned some playcalling duties over to Buchner and you get a small glimpse of Buchner changing a few plays here and there. 

“People only see the small-school competition and all that, but in my opinion, it's all relative, and he's dominating,” said Mitchell.

"How he's done it is so impressive. That's the intangible people won't see. He honestly runs the show and calls the game how he sees it. He's invested so much time immersing in the offense and even creating his own identity in it. This success is not strictly talent. There's plenty of talent out there, but for him to do this coming off of last year's injury and time away from the game..simply storybook. I'm so proud of him."
