The ACC Coastal is one of the weirdest divisions in college football. It’s very difficult to tell who’s good and who isn’t. The answer might be that no one is either and that they are all somewhere in the middle, which is why Duke fits right in at 4-4.

They are 61st in S&P+, so pretty much in the middle of the pack in the FBS. They beat Virginia Tech by five touchdowns when they played in September. They lost by five touchdowns to Virginia in October.
