Sean Na'a‍ had a lot of expectations coming into his first-ever trip to Notre Dame a couple weeks back and the 2023 California offensive lineman wasn’t disappointed.

“I’ve been watching Notre Dame on TV ever since I was little,” the 6-foot-4, 245-pounder said afterward. “I finally got to see them in person and it was great.

“It was fun. It was a great day.”

The Westlake Village, Calif., native was impressed with the campus and facilities in South Bend.

“I think the facilities were great,” he said. “I liked seeing the library and Touchdown Jesus. That was cool. The indoor practice facility was cool as well.”

He also enjoyed seeing the Irish defeat Boston College 40-7 in the home finale.

“I liked watching the game,” he said.

While in town, he was able to chat with Notre Dame offensive line coach Jeff Quinn.

“It was cool,” the Westlake High School standout said. “He’s a great guy.”

Quinn gave Na’a some simple advice.

“Just keeping my head down and working all offseason and just moving forward,” he recalled.

Na’a doesn’t have any other visits planned, but would love the chance to return to South Bend.

“I hope so.”
