2021 CB Jaylin Smith, Notre Dame Staying In Contact

Jaylin Smith‍ has been in touch with Notre Dame for the last couple months.

Earlier this momth, the Irish took a step toward furthering that relationship when defensive back assistant coach Todd Lyght dropped by Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, Calif., to check on the 2021 safety prospect.

Smith was at the doctor when Lyght dropped by preventing a possible in-person introduction.
