Notre Dame’s starting corners were so good in 2018 that it was difficult to pick out the bad moments from the season. Julian Love and Troy Pride gave up one touchdown each in coverage the entire season. That’s practically unheard of in today’s college football.

With Love leaving early, the cornerback position took a step back in 2019. But that step wasn’t nearly as big as many would have expected it to be.
