Jordan Oladokun‍ has a lengthy offer sheet already, but there’s a good chance it continues to grow as the 2021 Florida cornerback goes through the process.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder already has offers from schools like Penn State, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Iowa, Iowa State, Georgia Tech, Syracuse and Cincinnati among others.

“I have 19 right now,” Oladokun says. “It’s a blessing. A lot of kids don’t receive 19 offers, so I just take it day by day.”

Notre Dame is among another group of schools that is looking closely at the Gaither High School prospect.

“They’ve been hitting me up a lot,” Oladokun says of the Irish. “They’re just trying to figure out my transcripts and grades. Notre Dame is a smart school, so it means I need to have high grades. They’ve been talking to me about that a lot.”

The Tampa native has been in touch with Irish Director of Football Recruiting Aaryn Kearney.

“They already said they know I’m a baller,” says Oladokun. “They get a lot of ballers they’re trying to recruit, but they don’t have the grades, so there’s no point for them. They’ve just got to check out my transcripts.”

Oladokun says he doesn’t know a ton about Notre Dame right now, but would dive into the research if the Irish are serious about him.

“I take every school seriously that offers me, so I’ll for sure look at it,” he said.

“I already know it’s an academic school, so that crosses off one thing I need to look at. I need to see how my mom and dad like it, whether it’s like a family. I just want a school that is a family-oriented school that is going to take care of us and make us feel like home.”

He’s already taken visits to Penn State, Georgia Tech, South Florida, Florida International and UCLA.

”I know I’m visiting Cincinnati and North Carolina soon, but I don’t have official dates for those,” he adds.

College scouts have told Oladokun they like his ball skills, footwork and technique.

Even though he has an offer from Cincinnati, it’s as a receiver, so he doesn’t have a pre-existing relationship with new Irish cornerbacks coach Mike Mickens, who was with the Bearcats.

Oladokun says a few of his offers are at receiver, but that won’t be a factor in his decision.

“Wherever I can play.”

He plans to commit sometime in mid-June.
