It might have taken longer than expected, but 2021 Avon (Ind.) offensive lineman Blake Fisher‍ received his All-American Bowl invite on Thursday afternoon.

And hours later, the four-star prospect committed to play in the game, which will be on January 9th on NBC.

"Words can't explain," Fisher said. "I can't wait to represent Indy. All praise to the man upstairs."

The 6-foot-6, 335-pounder will join fellow 2021 Notre Dame commit Deion Colzie‍  in the game.

Notre Dame has had a tradition of having offensive linemen selected to the All-American Bowl. Michael Carmody played in the game last year, while Tosh Baker was hurt during the week of practice and didn't participate in the game.

Andrew Kristofic, Josh Lugg and Tommy Kraemer are also recent participants in the All-American Bowl.
