It's hard to believe right now, but Notre Dame and Texas is still the highest rated college football game of this season. And it wasn't even the most hyped game of opening weekend.

Alabama and USC in Jerry World was. It doesn't get much bigger than that when it comes to raw talent and tradition combined. But when those two programs got together that night, it was clear that Alabama was in a different class than USC.
