It's graduation weekend at Notre Dame and while the University Commencement Ceremony will be online instead of on-campus, the football program is making sure its graduates are recognized.

Notre Dame has started to release videos for each graduate and as their position coach writes a letter to them.

Yes, some will be back in 2020, but it doesn't change the fact they are getting recognized for likely the biggest accomplishment of their life.

Head football coach Brian Kelly recognized former running back Josh Adams and his incredible career by writing him a letter.

Josh, it's Coach.

I remember when you decided to come to Notre Dame. You knew who you were and what you wanted - a chance to play football and earn an education.

Literally, from your first play, you found the end zone. You kept finding the end zone again and again and again.

Well, by returning to Notre Dame to finish your degree, you found another end zone and this one lasts a lifetime.

Congratulations, Josh. You've earned it.

Adams is two years into his NFL career and has played in 17 games. He's carried the ball 128 times for 523 yards and three touchdowns with stints with Eagles and Jets.

At Notre Dame, Adams ran for 3,201 yards and 20 touchdowns over three years.

Adams will graduate from Notre Dame with a major in Psychology from the College of Arts and Letters.
