Notre Dame Baseball Lands UCF Graduate Transfer Joe Sheridan
Notre Dame baseball is quickly making moves this offseason following an impressive 11-2 record in the shortened 2020 season.
On Wednesday, head coach Link Jarrett added another piece to the puzzle as graduate transfer Joe Sheridan committed to Notre Dame.
The left-handed pitcher comes to South Bend from Central Florida, where he pitched for three seasons.
The 6-foot, 180-pounder posted a career ERA of 3.30 with a record of 15-7 for the Knights. Sheridan also recorded 131 strikeouts in 147.1 career innings while giving up 136 hits, but only three home runs.
Sheridan faced 646 batters during his time at UCF and opponents batted just .244 against him.
The Oviedo (Fla.) native tore his labrum at the end of the 2018 season and missed 2019.
