It didn't take long for Notre Dame to land its guy in 2021 four-star defensive lineman Gabriel Rubio‍ as the Lutheran (Mo.) star committed on June 15th, 2019.

Rubio had to earn the offer off the field as defensive line coach challenged the top 100 player in the classroom and the reward was an offer at the end of the semester.
