2022 OL Demon Moore Updates Recruitment
2022 Snider (Ind.) Demon Moore couldn't wait to get back on the field and was able to get his football fix on Saturday.
The 6-foot-6, 337-pounder competed at the Traction Athletic Performance Midwest Exposure Camp and had a ton of fun doing it.
"I enjoyed the competition and it was fun," laughed Moore. "I just love football. I can't wait to get back into football."
It's been a long offseason, but it's allowed Moore to work on the small details of his game.
"I'm just working on getting stronger and making sure my technique is getting better along with my footwork," said Moore.
When it comes to recruiting, Moore holds offers from Arizona State, Cincinnati, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Tennessee and Texas A&M.
The Snider star hears from three of those programs frequently.
"Ohio State, Arizona State and Indiana have been in contact," stated Moore. "Ohio State, we have a pretty good relationship. We talk on the phone a lot. We're doing pretty well. I talk to Coach (Kerry) Coombs and Coach Stud (Greg Studrawa).
"The conversations aren't really football-related. It's about what have I done today. The coaches want to know me and not just about football."
The Fighting Irish haven't offered just yet, but there has been some contact between the Notre Dame staff and Moore's coach.
"My coach told me they were looking at me, but I haven't been in contact with anyone from Notre Dame," said Moore.
During the camp on Saturday, Moore worked out at both tackle positions and he hopes he'll get a shot to play on the outside at the next level.
"No one has told what position they see me playing yet," Moore explained. "I want to play tackle, but if I don't grow, I'll probably end up playing guard."
As for a dream school, Moore has always followed a Midwest program closely.
"When I was younger, my dream school was Penn State," said Moore. "I always wanted to play at Penn State, so we'll see how that goes."
