The Notre Dame men’s basketball program is keeping as close an eye on how things go with the Irish football squad as anybody.

After quarantining upon return to campus, the football program announced it had just one positive case of COVID-19 in advance of voluntary workouts.

The basketball program is set to return with the rest of the student body in August, but one source said, “a lot of it is depending on the football team, seeing how their stuff goes.
