New look, new site, but same product.

That means ISD Intel, our weekly feature that takes you behind the scenes of Notre Dame Football and Irish recruiting efforts.

This week, we hear from several 2017 Notre Dame commits about why they’ve been so vocal about their support for their school despite the recent struggles.

We all know other schools are negatively recruiting against Notre Dame given the disappointing season and rumors of changes, but what exactly do they say and how do the Irish coaches work to combat that during their in-home visits?

We have updates on a couple of key defensive targets who are in play for the Irish.

Find out how Maryland defensive end Josh Paschal’s in-home visit with Scott Booker and Keith Gilmore went and what Paschal (pictured) will be looking to learn on next week’s official to Notre Dame. Also, find out why California linebacker Rahyme Johnson is listening to Notre Dame’s late pitch.

We have insight into Malik Zaire’s mindset as the former Notre Dame quarterback sorts through his options for next year.

And we also look at what the future will look like when Brandon Wimbush is the signal-caller for the Irish.

Get all of that and much more in this week’s ISD Intel.
