Notre Dame vs USF Rewatch Notes | Defense

It wouldn’t have been a stretch to predict a let down on defense this week for Notre Dame. They were down three starters and five total from the two-deep. That normally would be a recipe for some breakdowns at some level even if they were playing an inferior opponent.

There was no let down. Other than one play, there were no breakdowns. Notre Dame was forced into playing inexperienced players at linebacker, safety, and cornerback.
