"If he ever gets the starting quarterback position, Ian Book will never give it up."
The person who told me this following the Citrus Bowl victory wasn't taking a shot at former quarterback Brandon Wimbush, but rather speaking to the competitive drive of Ian Book.
Book has been through the ups and downs as the Notre Dame quarterback, but he's still starting.
