BREAKING | Notre Dame OL Aaron Banks Declares for 2021 NFL Draft
The 2021 offensive line picture for Notre Dame got a little more cloudy as Aaron Banks has declared for the NFL Draft.
Banks, a true senior, started 31 games for the Irish over his career while playing in 38 total games.
The 6-foot-5, 330-pounder made his first start against Navy in 2018 and never looked back as he only gave up two sacks in 844 snaps in 2019.
The momentum paved the way for a big 2020 for Banks as he was named to several All-American lists and named All-ACC first team along with an appearance in the College Football Playoff.
Notre Dame will need to replace four starters on the offensive line heading into 2021 as Jarrett Patterson will be the lone returning starter.
Banks, a former four-star prospect, chose Notre Dame over Cal, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon and Tennessee.
