2023 Safety Isaac Smith "Very Excited" By Notre Dame Offer

Isaac Smith’s recruitment took a major step forward on Wednesday.

Well actually, the plan was in place for the 2023 Mississippi safety a couple weeks earlier, when Smith, Smith’s coach and Notre Dame safeties coach Chris O’Leary hopped on a phone call.

“He was telling me about the big deal they were doing for St. Patty's Day and told me that he liked my game and how I played,” Smith said of O’Leary.

“He liked how I was competitive and stuff.
