Notre Dame football coach Brian Kelly spoke following practice No. 12 of the spring. 

On the passing of Lou Somogyi: 
“I would be remiss not to pass on my deepest sympathies to Lou Somogyi's family. We lost an icon. I think Tommy Rees did a great job of echoing those sentiments. Just a great man. I think all of his colleagues in the profession and all those he touched were deeply saddened by the unexpected loss.
