Season Review: D-line

January 6, 2017

There were a lot of ifs going into the season for the defensive line that had to occur for it to not experience a big drop off. With Sheldon Day and Romeo Okwara gone, most of the ifs surrounded who could replace those two.

If Jerry Tillery took a big step forward. If the redshirts from the previous season could contribute. If Notre Dame got production from a true freshman. Those were the kind of ifs that needed to happen and unfortunately they didn't.

There were some bright spots, but the two best players are graduating, which leaves plenty of questions for this off season.
