Everyone knew that points were going to be tough to come by against Cincinnati. The opportunities were going to be limited so Notre Dame needed to take advantage of it when they were created.

Four trips inside the Cincinnati 30 only led to 13 points that was a key factor in the game.

Three of those four trips came with Drew Pyne at quarterback and all 13 of the points. I don’t think we really need to dig into the second half numbers being better because that was clearly obvious.
